For many creatures roam the wild, but what is a beast if not those who massacre the beauty of the forest? But can one who destroys for need truly be a beast?

Oh the rabbit wakes beneath the morning light Where fields are soft and skies are bright It runs through grass with gentle feet Believing every soul it meets Oh the rabbit hears the forest sing...

Oh the bear walks through the forest searching for the sweetness of the hive Oh the bear walks through the forest only searching for the sweetness to survive And the hive never knew their golden gift would become the reason they would die Oh thousands of bees built walls with the labour of their tiny wings Oh thousands of bees built homes beneath the flowers and the songs they sing...

Oh do not look at me as though I am the beast I am not the wolf that tears with teeth I am not the bear that takes without thought I am a man I carry no claws...

The sky was full of wings Hundreds upon hundreds A moving ocean above the trees A thousand hearts beating But never asking why ...

Once, a brave deer was born beneath the trees Where morning kissed the leaves It learned the songs of gentle streams And the secrets carried by the breeze But the forest taught a different song...
