But what if love is just a mixture of chemicals and neurons? What if its all in my head? And I laugh without control And I smile and I jump all because I’m happy with you around But I also cry when you cry And I slumb when you leave And I don’t sleep until I see you dream And I cling to you as fly in your room A spike in dopamine when you’re around And a fall in serotonin when you’re not found A chain reaction that’s beyond my grasp The adrenaline rush I get when we And I admit that some hormone levels increase when we are alone... As we let ourselves go a bit in our time of secrecy... But if love is just a mixture of reactions happening in my body Then let them keep happening, because it means that I love you And if its more than just this, then I love you anyway I love you my own way
